I like this quote. I believe I could have said the same thing. It’s hard sometimes though isn’t it? Probably the hardest one to forgive is our self. It’s so important though. It’s not a sign of weakness to forgive, or to show ourselves in a raw form.
This charcoal sketch isn’t perfect, but it was done one evening when I felt compelled to do it. Fully engrossed in the process, this sultry version of Marilyn came out of my charcoal-covered hands, and I believe there is a raw-ness about it that is appealing.
